At my school there is an annual day of silence in which students can participate in a rights movement for Gay, Lesbian, & Bisexuals.for the whole day, a student cannot speak at all, not even to answer questions in class. This began when a student at my school was beaten up because he was gay, a few years ago.
A boy I know once said “God made Adam & Eve not Adam & Steve.” He continued to go on saying how it was a “sin” cursing about how strongly he felt. I told him “cursing a sin.” He said that’s different. I told him you yell at your mom right? That a sin, getting a tattoo is a sin, premarital sex is a sin, lying is a sin. How many people do that? Millions of people are doing one of those things RIGHT now. And suddenly it becomes a HUGE thing where it’s a sin to be gay? Suddenly everyone gets their bibles out right away and they all turn into these huge religions people. BULLSHIT. honestly, how many of you care what another person does & who another person is with. It’s so ignorant to look down at gay people as if they’re not good enough to be breathing the same air of you? Love is love. I’m not tyring to get religious but, the bible was written billions of years ago, and versions vary with different religions. How can you expect to live by the bible when times have drastically changed? Everyone has the right to be loved & love. With whom is there decision and WE have NO right to say other wise. it's where "mind you're own business" comes in handy. Growing up around gay people, as blessed me with an opened mind, Tsk. If only the world would be as open.
